Since November 2015, at the National Scene of Essonne, I have been developing the Made In Ici project: young artists from Essonne meet experienced choreographers from the hip-hop scene in France to create, in a very short time, duets of fifteen minutes presented to the public during a unique evening. Since the first edition, Made in here, there have been 28 artists, 16 meetings and as many original creations. For the 5th edition in November 2019, I wanted to find all the dancers who participated in the Made in here device in order to develop a unique piece during a week of work followed by a week of exploitation in various places in Essonne. Besides the rooms were full and the audience received the piece with great enthusiasm, the experience was so strong and intense in emotion that the whole team expressed the wish to play this piece a few times… All aware that given the distribution, it is impossible to "block" 12 companies for a tour, BUT there is something exceptional, a unique gathering, a story of 20 years on set, also a story of transmission, evolution, things we all care about! And then after the immense work, the unforgettable moment lived and what is given to see scene, it would be really a shame to stop there… this is the reason why we said to ourselves that it would be important to present this piece in the places that have marked and contributed to the choreographic creation HIP HOP its last 20 years, as well as the places that support the choreographers in their work.
