“My encounter with dance was made through hip-hop aesthetics. My artistic experience was nourished by a practice of dancer and choreographer. Far from codifications and limits, I found there a starting point and an energy towards an area of ​​freedom; the constraints created a very real desire to develop the movement from these bases. Extension and openness have been enriched by meetings with other artists in the context of residencies, tours, laboratories, commissions. In recent years I have focused on movement energy work, line work, and memory work.

 

If it were necessary to characterize the form that my work takes, it is a scientific term that would be best suited: hybridization. I work to combine a hip-hop vocabulary with contemporary dance. I am at the crossroads of several aesthetics and several artistic fields. I deploy my research with the conviction that personal writing is possible. "
