"Parallèles" is a culmination, the third stage of a work on the lines. After 3 at Cube and Face à Face, he solves a logical sequence. He explored body lines in contact with space and sound. His research resulted in a classification off the beaten track of Hip Hop, on the fringes of contemporary dance. This trip has become a signature.

Abderzak Houmi, passionate about geometry, has given himself a well-defined playing area, that of a board as if cut with a string. It is in this geometrical space that two lines are born, stand up, come together, mingle until they duplicate, they “parallelize”. He extends his route on the lines as he would examine two entities. The dancers play a score of a precision and a speed sometimes dizzying without however abstracting from a sensitive, intimate and fragile approach, like a breath.
